The Inflation Reduction Act, (IRA), passed in August of 2022, has provided substantial tax incentives for ground source heat pump system installations.
Residential installations can qualify for a 30% tax credit, while commercial tax credits can range from 6% up to 50%. Commercial incentives also include accelerated depreciation as well as carryback and transfer provisions.
